Andrew started racing karts at 8 years old. He finished in 3rd place his first season of racing karts. Andrew won the track championship in his 2nd year and broke a track record in his class. Then Andrew moved up to the Jr. 2 class and won the championship and placed 6th, 6th, and 10th at the IKF Kart Nationals.
Then Andrew moved to shifter karts and placed 5th at the shifter nationals along with a track championship.
In 2002 Andrew raced INEX Bandoleros on circle tracks in the Pacific Northwest and broke 3 track records and won 6 times and finished 2nd in the points championship and in 2003 moved up to a Legends car and won one race with 7 tops fives and 12 top tens. In 2004 Andrew raced karts again in the senior class and won 4 of the 5 races attended, and set a new track record.
In 2005 Andrew purchased a 1991 Spec Miata from Fenn Bourland and won 7 races and broke the track record at Pacific Raceways. Andrew won Northwest Region Spec Miata Championship and placed 8th in the Oregon region after missing 3 races.

What I like best about racing miatas: Going as fast as you can. Getting better and trying to win against all the competition.
What other miata driver I most want to beat: Gary Bockman because he is the best around here and if you beat him it is satisfying.
