How long I've been racing: I’ve been dabbling with racing since 2002 but have been racing full-time for the past 3 years.
Favorite driver: I admire many of the professional drivers past and present but I’d have to say that our local SCCA racers have had the biggest influence on me personally. Gary Bockman taught the first ‘ground school’ I ever attended. I’ve enjoyed the camaraderie with all the drivers and crews I’ve had the privilege of racing with over the years. I’ve learned a lot from the ‘old timers’ including Gary Bockman, Jonny Davies, Ken Sutherland, and Brian Towey. But, year after year I’d have to say that Ken Sutherland has done the most to help me improve as a driver.
What I like best about racing miatas: Obviously, it’s a childhood dream come true. But more important to me than that is that it has afforded me the opportunity to live out this dream while racing wheel-to-wheel with my best friend and teammate Fenn Bourland.
What other miata driver I most want to beat: The one in front of me!
