Family: Married 22 years to my biggest fan, Joannie. Three children: Sam age 16, Becca age 13, and Hannah age 6.
Occupation: I have worked at Midas Auto Service for 27 years, I think I'll make a career out of it.
I have wanted to race since my dad took me to the Jalopy dirt track races when I was 5 or 6 years old.
In the 70's I raced motocross and in the mid 80's I raced stock cars for three years. After 18 years away from racing, I drove my first SM race in July of 2004.
What I like best about racing miatas: The best things about racing SM's around here are the great group of drivers and the close racing in a very dependable car.
What other miata driver I most want to beat: My favorite driver is my team mate, Gary Bockman, he has more passion for racing than anyone I know.
He is also the driver I most want to beat because I know if I'm ahead of Gary, I'm also ahead of Ken Sutherland.
Crew: My crew chief is my son, Sam. (His first word was "car") I also have lots of help from Kevin Keenan and his son Kyle. Moral support and excellent setup help is given by "Uncle" Pat McFall.
